Install 2.0.6 from cydia ( latest ) . i (f2D) installed using 2.0.6.2 from bigbossrepo and it worked like a charm, no problems at all
this is what i did step by step

i had the crack version so i uninstalled it.
i installed version 2.0.6.2 from teh big boss repo
i did not open it
i placed all the files form the crack where they belong including pwnplayer(musictest.app)
i set permission 777 to ALL FILE AND FOLDERS
i resprung
i it ok like a charm and even saved my old sms from the previous version.


SSH every file to the corresponding directory , apply 777 permissions to iRealSMS_ and 777 to iRealSMS.dylib.
again , iRealSMS_ goes to /Applications/iRealSMS and iRealSMS.dylib goes to /Library/MobileSubstrate/dynamiclibraries

IF this doesnt work for you , uninstall irealsms , go to cydia again , install irealsms , and on the restart springboard screen , ssh into your phone - replace the files and then press tap restart springboard on your iphone .

Yeah yeah yeah. I got something like a dozen emails about this so here I am posting before I get any more.

The nice little video above shows Pastebud (which is not live yet) working to copy paste between Safari and Mail on the iPhone. How is it done? Just little javascript bookmarks and some backend web services.

Now while a lot of sites on the web seem to think this is god's gift to iPhone users we hate to break it to you. This technology is extremely old news. Instead of waiting eagerly for Pastebud to go live just use iCopy which already does what Pastebud will do and has been out for something like 9 months. edit: Oh look another tool is already around that does the same sort of thing -- iCursor.

Enjoy copy pasting between Safari and Email. I'll continue waiting for something a little more comprehensive

I had mentioned that Apple had not provided much information about the changes in the first beta version of iPhone firmware 2.2 (Build 9M2611) that was seeded to developers yesterday other than a note that it is for "compatibility testing".

However, iPhone Atlas has published a screen shot which reveals that iPhone Safari's user interface could get a tweak in iPhone firmware 2.2.


As of now, it appears that iPhone's Safari browser could get a minor tweak in its user interface.

As you can see in the screen shot above, from an iPod Touch (left) next to a picture of the new Safari interface in iPhone firmware 2.2.

Google (or Yahoo) gets its own search bar (instead of popping up when you hit the regular URL bar) and the reload button has been moved to the address bar.


So it should give you quicker access to search from iPhone's Safari browser as currently you need to tap the URL bar for the search bar to show up and then tap the search bar to be able to type the keyword for searching. With the new UI, the search bar is only one tap away.

RipDev has released the Installer 4.0b8 publically! This is the last update since the 4.0b6 which removed quite a few bugs. The reason they mention for the late release being swamped with work.

This new version switches to libcurl from the stock Foundation URL loading classes, which means more lightweight CPU and memory footprint and, more importantly, resumable file transfers. They also mention that there will be some more bug fixes.

Another great thing is that they have changed the functioning of the feature page. Now the featured page has featured stuff in it's true sense. I mean to say that now it displays the most popular (number of installations) packages on the featured page. Though there will be a few sponsored package too (for obvious reasons ) but they will be easily distinguishable and will be less in number (<3).

Another improvement done is that the community sources ae updated to reflect the change in name of ModMyiF0ne (intentionally mispelled) to ModMyi. It also removes some useless and outdated sources.

Also, now they are willing to host some packages from devs and will do everything (including scripting) themselves for your convenience for free. Just contact them.

Juice Wireless, Inc, has just released Flutter (iTunes AppStore Link), an AppStore app which (kinda) allows you to send MMS from your iPhone.

The app is definitely still in a beta format, with a bunch of supposed limitations (can only send to folks in your contact book - can't just tap in a number, can't receive MMS, location support is buggy - far off usually, and not everyone seems to be receiving the MMS's), but its up.

However, either the app is a joke, or their servers are much more overloaded than they thought would happen - I have yet to even get the confirmation sms, much less be able to test the app, and its been hours. I will update this post with a more involved review when (if?) it comes through.

Earlier today a judge ordered Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane to serve one year in prison for violating the terms of his probation.

According to myfoxatlanta.com, after pleading no contest to a 2005 assault charge, Gucci Mane (born Radric Davis) was sentenced to 6 months in jail and required to serve 6 and a half years of probation.

The terms of his probation required the Atlanta-based rapper to serve 600 hours of community service however in the 3 years that he has been out Gucci has only logged 25 hours total. Along with revealing that information at today's hearing, authorities also said that Gucci tested positive for ecstasy, marijuana and alcohol at a probation meeting.

As a result, the judge revoked one year of his probation and ordered him back to jail. After serving one year behind bars, Gucci will still have 2.5 years of probation and 600 hours of community service ahead of him.
